"I am really enjoying my new Caramel Apple Tea! The flavor is rich and bright without being cloying like some fall flavors. There is just the right amount of caramel to balance out the spices which don’t overpower the apple. Another win for Piper and Leaf!"

Customers praised this seasonal fall/winter tea for its "rich and bright" caramel apple flavor with balanced spices. Many said the flavor was comforting and soothing, calling it "so good you don't even need dessert." Some found the flavor weak or bland. The muslin tea bags were appreciated, and it works well hot or cold.

I purchased this tea as a gift for a co-worker who’s expecting, and she really enjoyed this brand. It’s a thoughtful option if you’re looking for a small, comforting gift for an expecting mother.
Perfect for fall or winter
I purchased my tea last week at the Silobration held in Waco, Texas. I personally just love & enjoy tea, so naturally I had to try the P&L samples. This flavor was hands down the best in many ways. My 1st thought was you don't even need a dessert!! I see a road trip to Alabama in my future. I just signed up for the email list and will be trying many of the other flavors. Thank you!
Love this flavor!
I will forever buy Piper & Leaf tea!
I was very excited to receive this, but found the flavor to be weak.

I found this tea to have a weak, one-note caramel flavor and the apple and spice were barely detected, if at all. It could just be my palate, but I was disappointed. I wish this tea had more spice and zip to it. For reference, one of my favorite teas is a cinnamon, ginger and orange tea that tastes a bit like a hot tamale candy and smells amazing. This tea is not that. It is mild, and for me, bland. If you don’t like strongly flavored tea, this might be perfect for you, but it’s just not for me.
Hi Whitney,
Thanks the review! We're sorry that you feel like our tea flavor wasn't as strong as you were expecting. We try to keep the ingredients balanced so one flavor isn't dominating the others by a large degree. We appreciate your honesty in sharing your experience with our tea. :)
I was trying to duplicate a tea drink I used to get from another company. This isn't it. But, that's not to say it isn't good. Very nice fall flavor that I truly enjoyed. I tried it both plain and with a little vanilla creamer in it, both hot, and really liked the flavor. I will probably buy a pound of this shortly. That good!
I bought some of this in a cute little antique shop in Dillsboro, Indiana. I just absolutely love this tea. I am so sorry it is seasonal, but that just means I'll have to purchase it before it's gone.
So soothing on a throat that's raw from allergies
Delicious tea. Love the muslin tea bags. And love local businesses!
Nicely flavored tea. I get a front hit of the black tea and a lingering back hit of slight cinnamon and spices and what I describe as a bakery flavor. Hard to describe adequately; but it's very good. I like it cold.
Wonderful tea hot or cold! Hate that it is seasonal, but it gives me something to look forward to!

Does the caramel apple pie tea have carbs?
Hello, thank you for reaching out! All of our blends have negligible calories and sugar content (both less than 5 grams) per serving and no carbs. 1 serving is 8oz of brewed tea (about 1 teaspoon of loose). Any calories, carbs or sugar would come from sweetener or milk that you may add to the tea after brewing! Hope this helps!
I accidentally bought the tea bags instead of the loose leaf! Is there any way to still use these with my piper press? Can I open the tea bags or is the amount different?
Hello Katie! Thanks for your question. While the tea bags can be used to make tea in a Piper Press, it's less tea than the 35 grams in the loose-leaf bag. With less tea, you'll also have to decrease the water, otherwise your tea will be weak. Since we recommend 28 oz of water for brewing 35 grams of the loose-leaf, you'll have to adjust the measurements accordingly. Under the 'Resources' tab, simply click on 'How to Brew' and it will walk you through the process step-by-step.
