Front Porch Special is my favorite summertime tea

Front Porch Special is my favorite summertime tea. Come fall I tend to switch to spicy blends and continue with that through winter. This spring in Ohio has been very cool but tea wise I was ready to bring on summer and I brewed up my first Front Porch gallon a week ago, hoping to bring on the summertime weather. So far, no luck, but I still love the taste of my favorite summer tea blend. I buy it by the pound so I can make it all summer.

This is the closest blend that I have found to one I got a couple years back on deployment overseas. When I got this the first time, I got it in a small pack and it was as close to the same flavor as I will ever find. It is my absolute favorite tea and I will drink it at any temperature. Being able to buy it in bulk made it even better!!!!! It has a wonderful soft flavor mixed with the nice robust Earl Gray flavor. It is absolutely delightful and refreshing!

This tea is a tie 2nd favorite P&L tea with Capri Cream. My Grandmother and her neighbors didn't have a front porch, they all had a wide concrete path leading to the side of their houses. Each one had those old fashioned metal chairs. We spent many hours in the late afternoon drinking tea and chatting as neighbors do. This tea reminds me of those times. It's the a true tea flavor with just a slight touch of sweetness and mint. I love this iced and bought this 1lb bag to make sure I always have some brewed concentrate in my refrigerator (or ice box as grandma used to call it.) Grandma has been gone 9 years now; but with every glass I smile at her memories. Thank you for that!
